Starting this month, the managers of the Romanian football academies are entering an intensive training program with internationally renowned experts.
The FRF project is carried out by National Football Academy in partnership with Double Pass, a Belgian company with 20 years of global experience, during which time it has worked with over 1,000 clubs, federations or professional leagues in Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Japan, Scotland, USA. or England. Double Pass is also a FIFA partner in the Talent Development Program.
FRF Football Academies will comprise 6 modules and will be completed in December 2022. Tuition costs will be subsidized by FRF by 75%.
Topics to be covered in the seminars include: the profile of an academy director, strategic planning, football philosophy, talent ID and recruitment, staff management, individual development, transition to 1st team, return on investment.
Following the registration and the selection process for the 20 available places, the participants in the 2022 edition of the FRF Football Academies project are: Cristian Cămui (Farul Constanța), Ilie Alexe (FCSB), Zoltán Dusinszki (AFK Csikszereda), Cătălin Bârleanu (FC Voluntari), Mezei János (CFR Cluj), Lucian Pretorian (University of Craiova), Mihai Matei (Dinamo), Ioan-Alin Ionescu (Politehnica Timișoara), Ștefan Boroș (UTA Arad), George Ogăraru (CSA Steaua), Iulian Prodana (FC Ripensia Timișoara), Alexandru Chirilă (FC Botoșani), Veress Janos Lorant (Sepsi OSK), Cătălin Cighir (LPS Iolanda Balaș Sőtér Buzău), Dan Huza (FC Universitatea Cluj), Cezar Honceriu (ACSM Politehnica Iași), Nicolae Văduva (ACS Kids Tâmpa 2015 Brașov), Vasile Maftei (Rapid Football Club) , Octavian Grigore (ACS Petrolul 52), Marian Lupu (FC Buzău).
Other academy managers will also have the opportunity to apply to the next edition of the FRF Football Academy, the project is planned to be continued in 2023.
