The Final Draw of the UEFA Under 21 Championship will be hosted in Bucharest.
The event will take place on 18 October, 07:00 PM, at the Romanian Athenaeum. The media organizations that wish to obtain accreditation to this event are invited to send nominal requests, specifying the e-mail address of the journalist, to catalin.popescu@frf.ro until Wednesday, 12 October, 12:00.
The final tournament, involving 16 teams, including the national teams of the host countries, will be hosted by two cities in Romania, Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest, with each city hosting one group. The event will unfold from 21 June to 8 July 2023.
The matches in Romania will be played on Steaua and Giulești stadiums, in Bucharest, and “Dr. Constantin Rădulescu” and Cluj Arena, in Cluj-Napoca. The opening match will be played in Romania, while the final will be hosted by Georgia.
The national teams participating in the final tournament are Romania and Georgia, as host countries, Norway, Germany, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, England, France, Belgium, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Denmark and Israel. The 16 national teams will be divided into 4 groups. The top two ranking teams in each group will qualify for the quarterfinals.
