From 5 to 9 March, a UEFA team visited the Romanian stadiums that, together with those in Georgia, will host the matches of the UEFA Under 21 Championship.
The project leader from Nyon, together with media and broadcasting partners, inspected the facilities of the stadiums Steaua, Giulești (in Bucharest), ”Dr. Constantin Rădulescu” and Cluj Arena (in Cluj-Napoca), defined the allocation of rooms and delimited the exterior areas.
During the working visit, FRF was represented by Alexandru Cândea, the project leader in Romania, Diana Pirciu, venue operation manager for U21 EURO, and Vlad Munteanu, host association’s tournament manager.
After inspecting the stadiums and holding the scheduled meetings, UEFA’s representatives stated that the progress of preparations was in line with the initial schedule.
